Electrical Engineering Intern

NEO Virtus Engineering seeks an electrical engineering student with an interest in working in the clean energy industry. NEO Virtus is primary an Electrical Engineering firm with a strong concentration in Photovoltaic (PV) system design. A part-time internship during the School term with potential to stay on and work full-time during the summer. The position is adapted to the applicant’s schedule for students in continuing education courses.

At NEO Virtus Engineering you will have the opportunity to work with a small team of engineers designing commercial and large utility scale solar and energy storage systems. 

Requirements:

·        Applicants must be able to commute to our office in Littleton, MA

·        Applicants must be pursuing or have a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering

Primary responsibilities will include:

·        AutoCAD design drawings primarily for photovoltaic systems

·        Photovoltaic system design and power calculations 

Experience in the following preferred, but not required: 

·        AutoCAD experience and familiarity 

·        Work experience in the power/renewables industry 

·        Electrical Apprentice experience/skills and/or studying NEC Code
