ABOUT THE ROLE:

This internship offers a comprehensive exploration of Topgolf Callaway brands, focusing on our operations, particularly within the Global Master Data team. Data is integral to our global organization, and your participation will span various workstreams. Working collaboratively with team members, receiving guidance from mentors, and incorporating insights from functional leaders, consultants, and an offshore technical team, you will play a key role in data analysis, cleansing, mapping, transformation, documentation, and process mapping. Your exposure will cover end-to-end process flows, and your responsibilities will include translating business requirements from partners into clear specifications for the data, systems, and technical teams.

ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT:

The Global Master Data team at Topgolf Callaway Brands serves as the stewards of information for renowned brands such as Callaway Golf, Odyssey Putters, Ogio, TravisMathew, Jack Wolfskin, and TopGolf. Our team plays a pivotal role in the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data.

Dedicated to ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and completeness of our organization's data, we act as custodians of crucial information related to products, services, and customers. Through these responsibilities, we make significant contributions to the seamless functioning of our business processes and operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Data analysis
• Data cleansing
• Process mapping
• Build/refine documentation

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities) (5 BULLETS MAX FOR JOB POSTING) 

• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft programs 
• Demonstrate strong communication skills – both verbal and written and be able to relate to all levels of employees and customers 
• Ability to meet assigned deadlines 
• Must be able to work in a fast‐paced environment 
• Must be self‐motivated and be able to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision 
• Ability to manage detailed project plans with accuracy 
• Must be detail oriented in all assignments 
• Must be able to read and interpret instructions, policies, procedures, program information, etc 

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 2 years related coursework or experience completed in the following majors: Economics, Computer Science, Data Science, Data Analytics, Statistics, Business Analytics
• Apparel industry knowledge a plus 
• Sporting goods or Golf knowledge a plus
